I attended my first yoga class over thirty years ago and was immediately drawn to its ancient wisdom. Since then, I’ve been exploring how yoga’s timeless teachings apply so meaningfully to our modern lives. Consciously or unconsciously, we are all searching for answers to life’s fundamental questions.
Rooted in the tradition of Hatha yoga, my teaching is an embodied, breath-centred practice—a slow and mindful approach that strengthens and balances the body while soothing the nervous system. Through philosophy, asana, pranayama, and meditation, yoga offers a way back to ourselves, helping us respond to life not from patterns of defense but from a place of integrity and ease.
In my classes, you are invited to experience your body as it is—with awareness, curiosity, and acceptance. I emphasise healthy alignment and encourage you to move beyond the thinking mind and into feeling—listening to your breath, taking time to pause, rest, and shape your practice in a way that feels most natural for you.
Throughout the week, you’ll find me teaching in Rutland, Stamford and surrounding areas; Woolfox, deep in rural Rutland, at David Lloyd Clubs UK, Vivacity Leisure, and in my private classes at the tranquil Pure Ora Studio, Stamford. I also offer 1:1 sessions, an excellent way to build confidence, focus on specific areas of interest, and experience a fully personalised practice tailored to your needs. In addition, I hold workshops, corporate classes, and retreats, creating space for deeper exploration and connection.
